at first sight, this image its very well made. The colours not only makes the image more attractive but also helps the spectator to recognise the two main main elements of the picture: background and the face of the boy.
The selections of the colours of the background are very well selected and not only helps to recognize the boy's face easy but also transmits the correct "emotions" of the full image. I must recognize that when I saw this image I thought that this was a digital work but thanks to your background I could recognize that this was really a traditional work, the face is so well drawn and so real that I really thought this was made in a computer!! my friend, with this point I mean that your artistic skills are very high and you should never stop because you have a lot to show in the near future.
I think that the clothe of the boy should have been worked a little bit more... but maybe like this helps the spectator's eyes to concentrate in the real important: the boys face, that it really is very well made. The hair distracts a little bit but it also looks good in the image.
